Deontay Wilder, otherwise known as The Bronze Bomber, is a Heavyweight champion who has won 42 out of the 44 matches he’s been in. His record is astounding with 41 of those wins being KOs. He started boxing in 2005 in an effort to help with his daughter’s medical bills and has been racking up wins ever since. He was essentially an undefeated champion until 2018 when his match with Tyson Fury ended in a draw. His only defeat was in 2020 against Fury once more. 

He is ranked as the 2nd best Heavyweight champion that is currently active and has an impressive track record to back up that ranking. Out of world Heavyweight champions, his knockout record is at 75%, which is incredibly impressive as he has managed to knock out every one of his opponents he’s won against. 

One of the most impressive parts about Wilder is that he competed in the boxing portion of the 2008 Summer Olympics. He defeated the Algerian and Moroccan challengers but lost against the Italian champion. His success has not gone unnoticed and he has quickly made himself into the champion to beat.
